The Lions Hearing Center, founded in 2000, is a non-profit that serves southeastern Michigan by helping the deaf and hard of hearing.  We provide hearing screening services to thousands of children and adults each year, provide affordable hearing aids to those in need, and help deaf children and their families find resources and support.

We partner with Wayne State University, Michigan Ear Institute and Lions clubs throughout the region to help us deliver our services.

Since 2011 – the Lions Hearing Center has provided over 15 scholarships to deaf students who reside in Michigan.  The financial challenges that deaf students have are much higher than a hearing student due to the costs of note takers, interpreters, and special equipment.
